OVERVIEW
Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid biostimulator. It triggers your body to build its own collagen at the injection site. Volume comes back gradually as that collagen accumulates.
Sculptra works well for volume loss spread across larger areas: cheeks, temples, general facial thinning. Multiple sessions are standard. Most clients need two to three, spaced four to six weeks apart.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Each vial is reconstituted before injection and needs time to hydrate first, so that step is built into your appointment.
At home, you'll follow the 5-5-5 massage technique for several days after each session: five minutes, five times a day, five days. This spreads the product evenly under the skin and is part of standard Sculptra aftercare. We walk through it in detail at your appointment.
Results build slowly. Don't expect to see anything the week after treatment. Most clients see visible improvement develop over three to six months, and it holds: effects can last up to two years.
